  • Weight Limit: There is a maximum weight limit of 320 lbs per passenger.
  • Seasickness: While some find the "punching" motion of the rafts less likely to induce seasickness than the "swaying" of larger boats, taking motion sickness medication as a precaution is advised for those prone to it.
  • Sun Protection: The open-air rafts offer less protection from the sun, so adequate sun protection (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses) is crucial.
  • Marine Life Interaction: A new rule implemented in October 2021 under the Marine Mammal Protection Act prohibits approaching, swimming with, or remaining within 50 yards of Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins in the wild. Captain Zodiac adheres to these guidelines, prioritizing sustainable and respectful wildlife viewing.
  • Accessibility: The Zodiac rafts are not wheelchair accessible, and guests need to be able to climb a ladder to get in and out of the water.
